  4. Most applications written for PCBoard v14.5 should run unmodified with PCBoard
  5. version 15.0.  In fact, most apps written since v14.0 came out should continue
  6. to run fine even with PCBoard v15.0.
  7.  
  8. However, some applications may have special requirements.  The list below gives
  9. the name, the version number, and the special requirements for those apps that
  10. may not work in a default v15.0 installation.

  13. QMAIL, by Mark Herring, version 4.0

  15.    Requires that you use the SET PCB=/OLDINDEX option or, on a conference by
  16.    conference basis, set the Old Index flag on.

  139. Applications which should NOT be used with PCBoard v15.0

  142. External Event Managers are no longer needed and shouldn't be used.
  143.  
  144. More to the point:  There is at least one, an OLD copy of PCBEvent (v2.x),
  145. which would copy only the v14.5a lines of the pcboard.dat file whenever it
  146. ran.  You would therefore LOSE any of the v15.0-specific items of your
  147. configuration.  Items such as "Verify CD Loss" and "Color Selections" would
  148. be some of the mostly notable items "missing" from your configuration after
  149. having used it.
